2019 Honda Passport Receives Top NHTSA Overall Safety Rating

Last month, it was reported that the all-new 2019 Honda Passport had earned a 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score* from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). This award, which is the highest possible score distributed by the agency as part of its New Car Assessment Program (NCAP), places Honda in the enviable position of having every one of their vehicles tested by the NHTSA granted an NCAP 5-Star Overall Vehicle Score.

The Honda Passport was built using the most recent version of the company's Advanced Compatibility Engineering™ body structure. Designed to absorb energy derived from a frontal collision and redirect it away from the SUV's occupants, this helps to keep you and yours safe on Texas roads and highways. The 2019 Honda Passport SUV also is outfitted with the Honda Sensing® suite of safety and driver-assistance technologies as a standard feature.

Honda Sensing® is comprised of intelligent features like Collision Mitigation Braking System™ with Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keeping Assist System, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Road Departure Mitigation that includes Lane Departure Warning. Together, they add a greater awareness about driving conditions around your SUV, and can help maintain the vehicle's lane position and even slow or completely stop the vehicle to help avoid a collision.

At Allen Honda, we're proud to offer a tremendous selection of Honda cars, SUVs, pickups, and vans to our customers from the College Station, Bryan, Conroe, Caldwell, and Brenham areas.
